Top-10 finish in Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway

A tripleheader weekend across two states brought Nick Hoffman to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Friday for the two-day Peach State Classic.

With 52 Castrol FloRacing Night in America entries amassed in the pit area, Nick was an early retiree from Friday’s opener on lap 10 of the feature due to rough track conditions.

On Saturday, Hoffman squeezed into the $30,000-to-win Peach State Classic main event with the final transfer spot in his heat race. Charging from the ninth row, Nick advanced forward nine spots in the 75-lap finale to finish ninth.

Hoffman made a quick stop to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Sunday but his night was cut short. After racing into the 34th annual Blue-Gray through his heat race, Nick was an early retiree from the feature after a piece of track debris cut down his right-rear tire in the closing laps.
