Hoffman records sixth-place finishes at Boothill and Rocket Raceway Park
Nick Hoffman followed the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series to Louisiana and Texas over the weekend for a pair of first-time events.
For the inaugural Bayou Classic on Friday at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.), Hoffman topped pole-starting Bobby Pierce in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. With a $15,000 payday up for grabs in Friday’s opener, Nick steered to a sixth-place finish.
On Saturday at Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas) for the Texas Torpedo 50, Nick raced into the $15,000-to-win finale with a runner-up heat outing. Lined up seventh, Hoffman clawed forward one spot in the 50-lap affair to record another sixth-place outing.
Nick is currently third in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
