Pair of top-10's with LOLMDS at Brownstown and Atomic

After the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series doubleheader weekend in Tennessee fell to Mother Nature, Nick Hoffman invaded Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Saturday afternoon for the 27th annual Indiana Icebreaker.

Amongst a stacked field of 47 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Hoffman followed up the third-fastest qualifying lap in his group with a third-place finish in his heat. With a $15,000 top prize up for grabs in the feature, Nick clawed forward one spot in the 50-lap affair to register a ninth-place finish.

For Sunday’s Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio), Nick raced into the $12,000-to-win finale with a runner-up showing in his heat. Starting in fifth, Hoffman lost two spots in the 50-lapper to finish seventh.
