Nick Hoffman scratches from Butterball Memorial finale at Richmond
Nick Hoffman took his NOS Energy Drink No. 9 Tye Twarog Racing Late Model into battle on Friday at Richmond Raceway (Richmond, Ky.) for the Ultimate Heart of America Series-sanctioned Butterball Wooldridge Memorial.
With prelims on Friday leading up to Saturday’s $20,059-to-win A-Main, Hoffman followed up the third-fastest lap in his time trial group with a runner-up in his 10-lap heat race.
Despite being locked into the sixth-starting position for the feature, Nick was one seven cars that scratched from Saturday’s program.
