Nick Hoffman kicks off Speedweeks 21

After starting his 2021 season earlier this month, when he made his Chili Bowl debut, Nick Hoffman returned to the driver’s seat of his Wehrs Machine No. 2 Fox Shocks / Elite Chassis Modified on Friday night at North Florida Speedway as he kicked off Speedweeks 2021.

Hoffman started his outing by qualifying fastest before finishing second in his heat race. The main event found Nick retiring early to save his equipment. He was credited with a 12th-place finish.

The team has elected to skip the final two nights at North Florida Speedway, and will now prepare to return to action on Tuesday, February 2 at Volusia Speedway Park, when the DIRTcar Nationals come to life.
